Campa Chormaic was established in 2005 in Cormac’s native area, the Brantry, near An Eaglais (Eglish) in County Tyrone. A second Tír Eoghain camp was set up at Scoil Naomh Iósaef, Donaghmore, in 2014.
In morning lessons, local teachers cover the Irish language, culture and history. In the afternoons, skilled coaches lead sessions in which children learn skills of hurling, camogie, Gaelic football, handball among various sports.
It is the people who make the Campa Chormaic experience: Múinteoirí, Ceannairí, coaches, willing volunteers who give freely of their time throughout the year, our supportive local communities, and generous sponsors to whom we are indebted.
But above all, the pupils make Campa Chormaic the premier summer camp, year in and year out!
As numbers in camps are limited, book your child’s place NOW to avoid disappointment.
An mbeidh tú ann i mbliana? Will you be there this year?
Campa Chormaic go deo!
